I started programming when I was 11. My only regret is wish I had started sooner. I have completed courses in Python, JavaScript, HTML and CSS and hope to pursue a career in programming.
I am currently studying A Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Computer Science and Music, an interesting selection people have told me. I hope to use the skills I have learned from these courses at University.
I decided to take up Game Development during lockdown. After some failed attempts, I managed to create my first game. My second game achieved a top 15% ranking in a global competition and I have also created another game released by app.
As well as studying music, it is also one of my favourite hobbies. I sing and play the trombone (obviously not at the same time). Performing in bands and choirs has helped to develop my playing and performance skills.
I pride myself on my work ethic. I will always go the extra mile with my work, ensuring a high standard.
I have always loved to solve problems, whether it be the Sudoku in the newspaper or a complex mathematical question.
Logical thinking is one of my best skills, being able to understand a problem and work through it step by step is vital in many cases.
No matter the scenario, I strive to play my role in any team. DofE is an example of this, taking the role of map reader (which is fairly important).
